Effective Date: September 20, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Appicdev (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information across our suite of mobile applications (“Apps”), including but not limited to SleepWave and others.
We believe in building simple, privacy-conscious apps that respect our users. We do not collect unnecessary data, nor do we sell your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the specific features of each app, we may collect:
- Device information (model, OS version)
- Usage statistics (e.g. crash reports, feature usage)
- Geolocation data (only if required by app functionality)
- Email address and name (only if explicitly provided by the user — e.g. for registration, syncing, or support)
We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g. political beliefs, health data, biometric info).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and improve app functionality
- Enable user-specific features (favorites, alarms, progress tracking)
- Support cross-device sync (only if the user opts in)
- Respond to user support requests
We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data — ever.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Most user preferences (e.g. favorites, saved states) are stored locally on your device.
- If the app offers registration or sync, data (e.g. email, password) may be stored securely on our servers, or using Apple iCloud.
- We retain user data only as long as required to provide the functionality you’ve requested.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except:
- When legally required (e.g. government requests)
- When explicitly authorized by the user
- When technically necessary (e.g. Apple Push Notification Service or iCloud)
5. Geolocation Use (Only in Some Apps)
Some apps may request access to your location to:
- Suggest nearby content (e.g. local radio stations)
- Improve user experience
Geolocation access is always optional and can be disabled in your device settings.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. under GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to:
- Access your stored data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal data
- Withdraw consent
You can manage most of these rights directly in the app settings or contact us at appicdev@proton.me.
7. Data Deletion
In apps that support user registration, you can delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app settings at any time.
If you’ve previously contacted our support, and your data was stored for troubleshooting purposes, you may also request manual deletion by emailing us at appicdev@proton.me. We’ll respond within 30 days.
8. International Data Transfers
Depending on infrastructure or third-party services (e.g. cloud hosting, Apple services), your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure your data remains secure during such transfers.
9. Third Party Links
Some apps may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or technical changes. Major updates will be clearly announced in-app. Continued use of our apps means you accept the updated policy.
